I was born in 1948 and raised in this area. I moved to Ontario in the mid-sixties for a job on a fruit farm. I also worked in steel manufacturing plants, took first aid training and was part of St. John Ambulance. I became a paramedic, which became a forty year career. I took a heavy equipment mechanic course and was Service Manager for a construction equipment repair company. And of course, I got married and we had two children.
I moved back to New Brunswick in 1979 and started a taxi business, worked as a paramedic and operated the Jacquet River/Belledune Ambulance for twenty-eight years until 2007. My wife and I own and operate Sunset Place Camping, which is a campground and vacation apartment rentals.
I have always been involved with different organizations and enjoy community events and people.
