Cynthia Robinson

Councillor

It is a privilege to have been elected as the Councillor for Ward 1.  I am honoured and humbled by the support I have received and I look forward to representing the citizens of Belledune.

I was raised in Jacquet River and have great memories of growing up here.  I left home, like so many others, to attend university.  I graduated from University of New Brunswick in 1993 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree, University of Victoria in 1994 with a Fine Arts Diploma in Cultural Conservation and Fleming College in 2000 with a Degree in Museum Collections Conservation and Management.

I returned to Belledune in 2004 with a renewed sense of pride in where I came from and a desire to be an active participant in my community.  I have been involved with various committees and organizations over the years including Belledune Tourism Committee, Belledune Regional Environment Association, Relay for Life, North Star Quilt Guild, Restigouche Regional Museum and as a basketball coach for our very own Jacquet River (mighty, mighty) Tigers.

I look forward to working with Mayor Arseneault and the rest of Council as we pursue the very best for Belledune.
