Belledune Community Volunteer Income Tax Program
Now Available Year-Round
The Community Volunteer Income Tax Program (CVITP) will be beginning again year-round starting February 23, 2026.
This free clinic is offered to eligible individuals with a modest income and simple tax situation, helping ensure residents receive the benefits and credits they are entitled to.
Clinic Hours:
Monday to Friday
8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Closed daily from 12:00 p.m. – 1:00 p.m. for lunch
Important Information:
• This clinic operates on a first come, first served basis.
• Clients must provide all tax slips and receipts.
• Volunteers will only complete returns they feel comfortable preparing based on the information provided.
• The service is free of charge
To be eligible, you must have:
A modest income (based on family size)
A simple tax situation (for example: employment income, pensions, benefits, RRSPs, scholarships, or interest under $1,200)

Please ensure you bring:
• Government-issued photo ID
• Social Insurance Number (SIN)
• All tax information slips and receipts
