Economic Development
The Village of Belledune is committed to developing a robust plan of political support and workforce training. The Village of Belledune wishes to be a partner in the success of any initiative that brings economic and social opportunity to the region. Our village has over 30 km of coastline, as well as an ice free Deep Water Port. Our Industrial Park features a modular fabrication facility that is available for rent or lease. In our light Industrial Park we have a connection to a CN spur line that allows tenants to ship and receive their products and supplies by rail.
Our industrial parks are conveniently located adjacent to NB Highway 11, so goods and products can easily reach major supply routes to the rest of the Atlantic Canada, Quebec, and the Northeastern United States.
Supporting Small Businesses
The Village of Belledune is dedicated to helping small businesses and employers grow. To this end, we have instituted a number of economic development grants to enable businesses to make strategic investments in both their locations and the range of work and services they are able to perform.
The Village also strives to provide a supportive and inclusive community with activities for employers and employees alike.
