Councillor At Large
I am extremely proud to have the opportunity to represent the Village of Belledune as Councillor at Large.
Throughout my life, I have had the opportunity to live all over this great country, growing up in places like Mount Pearl, Newfoundland, Valleyview, Alberta, and briefly in Nova Scotia. These moves gave me a great perspective on what makes a community great, how challenges are faced and how opportunities are seized.
Throughout all of this, my home was always in Belledune; summers were spent in the “Old House” playing auction with my grandparents, building fires on the beach and going back into the woods with my Uncle Dave.
I moved with my family, back to Belledune in 2003, and except for a few years to get my degree from Mount Allison, and a brief stint in Edmonton, this is where my wife Mallory and I call home. I am hoping that together with Council and other members of the community, we can work together to turn the tide in Belledune, and make it a place where people come to build great lives and great opportunities.
