A By-law to Stop Up and Close a Portion of Shannon Drive

VILLAGE OF BELLEDUNE


PUBLIC NOTICE


PROPOSED BY-LAW TO STOP UP AND CLOSE CERTAIN PORTION OF SHANNON DRIVE


 (pursuant to section 187 of the Municipalities Act)


 Notice is hereby given that the Municipality of Belledune intends to permanently stop up and close part of Shannon Drive between Conservation Avenue and the NB Power gate westward. As per subsection 187 (2) of the Municipalities Act, this portion of street will be permanently stopped up and closed to all vehicular and pedestrian traffic. In addition, the municipality intends to sell, lease of dispose of any right, title or interest it has in the soil and freehold thereof.


Interested parties may consult the proposed by-law at the Office of the Municipal Clerk in the Municipal Building of Belledune from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM on business days. The proposed by-law is also available on the website of the municipality at www.belledune.com or the Chaleur Regional Service Commission at http://www.csrchaleurrsc.ca/en/news.


Objections to the proposed by-law which are presented in writing shall be considered at a public hearing to be held in Council Chamber at Belledune on June 19, 2017 at 7:00 p.m.


Anyone wishing to support or oppose those written objections may do so at that time and place.


Take note that written objections shall be received by the Village before 3:00 p.m., June 16, 2017. They shall be addressed to Brenda Cormier, Municipal Clerk at the address below.
